Accelerator Partnerships Manager - Los Angeles
Job Description:
About Acquisition Network
Acquisition Network builds relationships across founder, investor, operator, and professional communities. We are expanding a network of independent professionals who can build useful connections with startup programs and the founders they serve.
The role
Acquisition Network is hiring an Accelerator Partnerships Manager to develop relationships with accelerator and incubator programs in Los Angeles. You will learn what founders in those programs need before a capital raise, coordinate approved educational or introductory opportunities, and help interested founders take an appropriate next step. Success requires thoughtful partner management, reliable follow-through, and respect for each program's policies.
What you will do
- Identify and develop relationships with accelerators, incubators, university programs, founder hubs, and venture organizations in Los Angeles.
- Learn each program's priorities, cohort structure, partner policies, and founder needs.
- Coordinate approved workshops, office hours, events, or introductory conversations when useful.
- Identify founders who request additional support and confirm their permission before making an introduction.
- Maintain clear records of program contacts, partnership activity, and next steps.
- Gather feedback from program teams and founders to improve future collaboration.
- Represent Acquisition Network professionally throughout the partnership lifecycle.
What we are looking for
- Current or prior experience managing an accelerator, incubator, venture program, founder community, or startup partnership portfolio.
- Understanding of founder programming, mentor networks, cohort operations, and fundraising preparation.
- Existing relationships with startup programs or ecosystem leaders in Los Angeles.
- Strong partnership development, presentation, and project management skills.
- Consistent organization, judgment, and follow-through.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate across multiple external organizations.
Engagement details
This is a paid, remote independent contractor opportunity. The work is flexible and relationship-driven, with an emphasis on building durable program partnerships in Los Angeles. Scope, performance expectations, and compensation will be documented in the written contractor agreement.
Professional standards
You must respect program rules, founder consent, and confidential information. Do not use participant lists without authorization, imply that funding is guaranteed, or represent that a program has endorsed Acquisition Network unless that approval has been documented.
How to apply
Submit your resume or LinkedIn profile and a brief example of an accelerator, incubator, or startup partnership you managed. Do not send participant lists or private founder information. Acquisition Network provides equal opportunity without regard to protected characteristics.
