Acquisition Network builds relationships across founder, investor, operator, and professional communities. We are expanding a network of independent professionals who can recognize founders preparing for a raise and connect them with an appropriate next step.

The role

Acquisition Network is hiring a Partnerships Advisor with pitch deck, financial modeling, or fundraising materials experience in Austin. You will build relationships with founders and service providers, identify common fundraising readiness questions, and coordinate introductions for founders who want to speak with our team. This role draws on your understanding of founder preparation without requiring you to share or repurpose client work.

What you will do

• Develop relationships with founders, pitch consultants, financial-modeling professionals, and startup advisors in Austin.
• Identify founders actively preparing investor materials or evaluating a future capital raise.
• Discuss goals, timing, and readiness at a high level to determine whether an introduction may be useful.
• Make consent-based introductions and provide relevant contextual notes.
• Maintain accurate records of relationships, conversations, and follow-up.
• Share general observations about the questions and preparation gaps founders commonly encounter.
• Support approved educational conversations or partner activities when relevant.

What we are looking for

• Experience creating or advising on pitch decks, financial models, investor materials, fundraising narratives, or related founder deliverables.
• Understanding of how founders prepare for investor conversations and diligence.
• Relevant founder and service-provider relationships in Austin.
• Clear, consultative communication and strong professional judgment.
• Excellent organization, discretion, and follow-through.
• Ability to work independently in a remote contractor role.

Engagement details

This is a paid, remote independent contractor opportunity focused on partnership development and qualified introductions. Scope, performance expectations, and compensation will be documented in the written contractor agreement.
