Accelerator Mentor Partnerships Advisor - Seattle
Job Description:
About Acquisition Network
Acquisition Network builds relationships across founder, investor, operator, and professional communities. We are expanding a network of independent professionals who can recognize when founders would benefit from an additional conversation about preparing for a capital raise.
The role
Acquisition Network is hiring a Partnerships Advisor with accelerator mentor experience in Seattle. You will develop relationships with founders, mentors, and program teams, discuss fundraising preparation at a high level, and coordinate introductions when a founder asks to speak with our team. Your experience should help you recognize common operating and fundraising challenges while maintaining the trust expected in a mentoring relationship.
What you will do
- Build relationships with accelerator mentors, program teams, founders, and startup advisors in Seattle.
- Hold high-level conversations about growth priorities, fundraising preparation, and current founder needs.
- Identify founders who want an additional conversation with Acquisition Network.
- Coordinate introductions only after receiving the founder's permission.
- Provide concise context and maintain accurate follow-up records.
- Surface recurring founder questions that can improve our educational and partner resources.
- Participate in approved ecosystem conversations or events when relevant.
What we are looking for
- Experience mentoring startups through an accelerator, incubator, university, investor network, or founder program.
- Practical knowledge in areas such as growth, operations, go-to-market strategy, finance, fundraising preparation, or leadership.
- Strong relationships within the founder ecosystem in Seattle.
- Trusted communication style and the ability to listen before recommending a next step.
- Sound judgment, discretion, and reliable follow-through.
- Ability to work independently in a remote contractor environment.
Engagement details
This is a paid, remote independent contractor opportunity focused on relationship development and qualified introductions. Scope, performance expectations, and compensation will be specified in the written contractor agreement.
Professional standards
You will not be asked to disclose confidential mentoring conversations or promise funding outcomes. You must honor program rules, conflicts, and existing professional obligations in every conversation and introduction.
How to apply
Submit your resume or professional profile and a short description of the programs you have mentored and the areas in which you advise founders. Do not identify individual founders or disclose private program information. Acquisition Network provides equal opportunity without regard to protected characteristics.
